Biography
Jeff Vogtlin is currently in his tenth year teaching at Alamo Heights Junior School. Mr. Vogtlin holds a B.A. in Music Education from the University of Northern Iowa. He is an active clinician in San Antonio and has performed with the Central Iowa Symphony, Waterloo Municipal Band, San Antonio Lutheran Chorale, San Antonio Municipal Band, San Antonio TubaMeisters, and Mid-Texas Symphony. He holds professional affiliations with the Texas Bandmasters Association, Texas Music Educators Association, and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfoania Fraternity of America, Inc. In his free time Mr. Vogtlin enjoys spending time with his family; they enjoy outdoor activities, traveling, and reading. Mrs. Vogtlin is a CMC teacher. His daughter, Abby, is in first grade and enjoys dancing and gymnastics; his son, Caleb, enjoys trucks,
trains, and tractors.
