Social Studies 6th grade World Geography and Cultures

Absenses: Please come to my lunch bunch if you have been absent and collect your make up work. You will
have the number of days that you were out to finish that work.
Grading Policy: Your daily work will be worth 60% of your total grade. Your tests and projects will be worth
40% of the total S.S. grade for that 6 weeks.
**For this semester late work will only earn a 50%.

Lunch Bunch: Lunch bunch is available most days for extra work time and to catch up when you are absent. There is also
"Success Lunch Bunch" which is required once a week if you have failed my class on the report card. Teachers will stamp the
agenda when that will be expected. Missing this type of lunch bunch will earn you an after school detention.
Supplies: Please bring your agenda, binder, paper, pencils that are ready to write, and colored pencils to class
every day! ** Always bring all handouts for our current unit to class!!

5/26- Today is a holiday, enjoy! |
5/27- Today we will make a quilt square that shows a little about your personality, and gives one piece of advice to the upcoming 6th graders. Finish this at home if you did not turn yours in. It is due Wed. |
5/28- Today we will have a presenter from the DARE program for part of our class period. Then I will explain the Quiz that we will have this week. The Quiz is a timeline that is due on Friday. |
5/29- Today all classes will work on the timeline. This is your final Quiz grade for SS. It is due on Friday. It needs all facts in order, and a picture for each fact. You may work on it at home, but you must also work in class. |
5/30- Turn in your timeline. If you wish to present, you may stand up and tell us which pictures you chose, and why you chose them. Enjoy your weekend! |
